Welcome to My World
Writing a novel is a strange experience. You spend most of your day living inside your head. Even when you’re not writing, you’re thinking. And, perhaps even stranger, you’re creating characters who become your friends.
It’s weird but it’s wonderful.
This site is dedicated to my first novel, SOUTHERN FRIED LATINA, about an Atlanta-based advertising executive who turns to her Cuban family for support after discovering her business partner/fiancée in the arms of her assistant. I describe SOUTHERN FRIED LATINA as a Latin version of MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING meets A MAN IN FULL.
From here on out, I’m sharing my journey. This blog is designed to chronicle my experience with the publishing world… the good, the bad and the ugly. Wish me luck.
